Aubrey and Porter’s scenic engagement session in Idaho Falls was one of my favorites of the summer! Everything about this session was perfect.
First of all, Aubrey and Porter are so cute together. They came to their engagement session ready to laugh and have fun. Their happiness definitely showed in their photos! I loved being able to capture their upbeat personalities and relationship along with the gorgeous landscape.
Engagement Session Location
Second, this spot is gorgeous and I can’t believe it is so close to the Idaho Falls area. It features a stunning overlook of the reservoir with hills and fields all around. It’s a hidden gem and doesn’t even look like it should be in Idaho Falls area! This location is one of many spots included in my Location Guide, which I send to all of my clients. I want to make sure they can easily choose the best location for their session, and I think Aubrey and Porter did just that!
During golden hour, the sunset creates a beautiful glowing sky with warm, magical light at this location. It’s a photographer’s dream! The last photo with the sun setting in the background was probably my favorite from their session! Scroll to the bottom to see!
Engagement Session in Idaho Falls Outfits
I also loved Aubrey & Porter’s outfits! Aubrey’s first dress was long and flowy and flattered her figure beautifully. The second outfit was casual, colorful, and fun. Both outfits complimented the colors of the location and Porter’s outfits. They did a great job!
I always recommend two outfits for an engagement session – one more dressy, the other more casual. That way, you will have some variety in your final gallery without having to spend too much time changing outfits.
