Olivia and Payten wedding at the Idaho Falls Temple and Emalee’s Barn happened on a beautiful September day. The weather was gorgeous – not too hot and not too cold. There were colorful flowers still blooming and lots of green everywhere. September is an amazing month to get married!
Idaho Falls Temple Wedding
First of all, the Idaho Falls temple is such a beautiful place to get married! The grounds were especially stunning on Olivia and Payten’s special day. There were colorful plants and flowers all over, with the sun shining through the trees. The couple exited the temple with their friends and family cheering and excited. They had a large bridal party that was ready to celebrate and have fun with them! The bridesmaids and groomsmen were a blast to hang out with!
After family and group photos, we had time for bride and groom portraits. I love going around the temple grounds to get a variety of backgrounds in photos. I always get the iconic temple shots with the full building behind the couple, as well as close-up intimate shots as well.
Wedding Reception at Emalee’s Barn
Next, it was time for the ring ceremony and wedding reception at Emalee’s Barn. I love this venue because of its interesting history! It is owned by a couple that got married in an identical barn, who then purchased this one so that other couples could have a beautiful space full of personality for their celebrations. It is over 100 years old and is as beautiful as it is unique.
The large barn doors provided a lovely backdrop for Olivia and Payten’s ring ceremony. After exchanging rings, it was time to party! They served delicious cheesecake in all different flavors to their guests. Next, they celebrated by cutting the cake (and smashing it in each other’s faces!), playing the shoe game, and dancing the night away.
Additionally, we were able to get some stunning photos of the couple around the wedding venue. One of my favorites of the day was a silhouette photo against the barn. So pretty!
After a sparkler exit, they were off! It was an incredible day capturing such a joyful and beautiful wedding at the Idaho Falls temple and Emalee’s Barn!
