As a photographer, there are moments when everything just falls into place. When the light is perfect, the scenery is breathtaking, and the love between a couple is palpable. Mariah and Ethan’s engagement session at the St. Anthony sand dunes was one of those moments.
As soon as we started their engagement session, I knew it was going to be a magical evening! It was a warm summer night and the sand dunes were looking especially beautiful with the golden hour light.
Mariah and Ethan are such a sweet couple and I could immediately tell how much they cared about each other. During their engagement session at the St Anthony Sand Dunes, we had so much fun! Mariah and Ethan laughed, danced, and ran around in the sand together.
St Anthony Sand Dunes
The sand dunes themselves were a photographer’s dream, offering a beautiful backdrop for this couple. From intimate close-up shots against the neutral backdrop to wide-angle shots that showcased the grandeur of the landscape, we captured a large variety of photos.
But it was when the storm began to roll in that the session truly came alive. The sky filled with dramatic clouds and the wind added beautiful movement to Mariah’s hair and dress. I love when the weather adds something unique to a session!
Engagement Session Outfits
When it came picking their outfits, Mariah and Ethan’s chose well! Their first outfits complimented the sandy landscape with soft, neutral tones. And their second outfits, in crisp whites and vibrant blues, added a pop of color and sophistication to the photos.
As the session drew to a close and the first drops of rain began to fall, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for being able to capture Mariah and Ethan’s love story.
