Elegant Summer Wedding at the Hive Venue

Mariah and Ethan had an elegant summer wedding at the Hive Venue in Pocatello. I absolutely loved working with them because they are such a kind and thoughtful couple and their wedding day was filled with joy and love. The Hive was the perfect venue for their wedding because it matched their elegant, classy wedding theme of dusty blues and greenery. The white walls and large windows create a beautiful canvas and look amazing in photos!

Getting Ready Before the Wedding at the Hive

One of my favorite parts of the Hive Venue is the bride and groom rooms. They are both so pretty and perfect for getting ready before the ceremony. Mariah got her hair and makeup done by Kaylee Moffit, who did an incredible job. Mariah’s grandmother helped her into her dress and all of the bridesmaids got ready together.

Ethan and his groomsmen got ready and hung out before the ceremony in the groom’s room. I love how moody and fun this room is – perfect for portraits!

Mariah and Ethan wanted their first look to be walking down the aisle, but they still each did a first look with their parents – Ethan with is mom and Mariah with her dad. It was such a sweet moment for all of them!

Wedding Ceremony at the Hive

The wedding ceremony at the Hive was absolutely beautiful. Mariah’s dad walked her down the aisle and her grandmother officiated the ceremony.

Afterward, we took group photos and then bride and groom portraits outside.

Elegant Summer Wedding Reception at the Hive

After the ceremony, it was time to party! I loved all of the simple, elegant decor with lots of greenery. The guest book was especially creative. It was a custom record cover with photos of the couple! So cute and unique. There were also lots of fun yard games to play inside and outside.

Mariah and Ethan also chose to do lots of dances, including the dollar dance, first dances with mom and dad, first dance as a couple, and a last dance before exiting. I loved it! The photos were so fun and there were so many smiles and laughs during all of the dances. The couple cut their cake, partied with their guests, and then exited with bubbles. It was an incredible day!
