Fall family photography in Idaho Falls is truly something special, and this season did not disappoint. We had such a beautiful and mild autumn, and the leaves were colorful and beautiful. I had the joy of photographing the Anderson family, and it was such a full-circle moment. I first met them a few years ago when I took photos commemorating Eleanor’s baptism. Since then, she and her sister have grown, and I was so excited when they reached out for family photos. It means so much to me when families come back for different milestones.
That evening was absolutely gorgeous, with just a slight chill in the air. The sunlight filtered softly through the trees, which made everything glow. Additionally, the autumn leaves added so much depth and texture to every image. This is one of my favorite locations in Idaho Falls because the light comes through the trees perfectly. The tall grass also creates a beautiful, natural backdrop that feels timeless.
The Anderson family looked amazing in their classy outfits, which complemented the setting so well. Meanwhile, their two adorable girls brought so much energy and personality to the session. I loved how playful they were. We spent time laughing, playing games, and even running around a bit. Because of that, we captured genuine smiles and real moments, which are always my goal.
