Photographing this beautiful fall family session with horses in Island Park, ID was phenomenal! Island Park, Idaho is such a gorgeous place to begin with. It has beautiful views of trees, rivers, lakes, and mountains. But then add the fall colors AND a horse ranch AND an adorable family to photograph. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Fall is a popular season for family photo sessions, and there’s a reason for it. The weather is cooler, which means you can wear cute fall layers! The colorful leaves make for a stunning backdrop and add beautiful pops of color. Fall is a busy but wonderful time of year for photographers!
The horses were a wonderful touch to this family session! They loved interacting and being a part of the pictures. They came ready to pose for the camera! Horses are so majestic and beautiful, and they added a lot to the final photos.
I love family sessions! Each family has their own family dynamic and personality. I love to capture what makes each family unique! Kids change so quickly and it’s so important to document them at each stage as they grow up.
