Alyssa and Solomon’s wedding day was such a beautiful day and I was so honored to be a part of it! Wisconsin is my home state and I was so happy when Alyssa asked me to be her wedding photographer. I love any excuse to go home to Wisconsin! It is so beautiful and green in the summer and I definitely miss that. I am always willing to go back for whatever reason!
Their day started off with a surprise first look – Alyssa wanted to surprise Solomon by sneaking up behind him before the ceremony! He was so surprised and so happy. Solomon is from Ghana and he wore a traditional piece of wedding attire to represent his country. I thought that was so cool!
Their wedding took place at the DeKoven Center — a beautiful venue in Racine, Wisconsin full of historic brick buildings. They had a lovely outdoor ceremony outside the chapel. Their happiness and love just radiated from them the entire time! It was a touching ceremony.
